Opinions on "624" heads

I have a set of these laying around and I was wondering if they were worth doing anything with. According to what I've found out these were the heads used on the later LT-1's.

Are these any good, or should I use them to block the wheels when the parking brake goes out of the lawn tractor?

462624 castings are very thin walled castings. They are not designed for high performance applications. The exhaust seats will crack very easily if the engine gets too hot. (no nitrous, no turbo, no supercharger use)

These heads are 76cc open chambers. The were available with small and large valves. When available with large valves, they also came with screw in studs and guide plates. Intake port volume is only 160.

For what it would cost to rebuild these 30 year old heads, you'd be better off buying a set of Dart heads.
