LT1 cam swap.....rockers too?

I was wondering if I could and if it's worth it to swap out the stock rockers with ones from an LT1 when I put the LT1 cam in?

Thanks,
Mark

You can, but there wouldn't be any benefit. The LT1s came with SA rockers just like every other ordinary 87+ SBC.

The LT4s are the ones with roller rockers. Although, from what I've read, they're roller trunion also, and don't last more than 40-50K miles. I may be mistaken on that though.

Totally true. You already have the 1.5 rockers so getting more 1.5 rockers would do no good. Grab some 1.6 roller rockers and you'll punch out the lift of the LT1 cam to a little under .500" I believe. I am wanting to do the exact same thing....just remember though, if you run with the1.6 you should change your springs, depending on what heads you have.
