Idle good in drive, bad in park/neutral?
Idle good in drive, bad in park/neutral?
It used to be the other way around; at stoplights the idle would hunt and miss so badly that I would put it in neutral to get it to stop. Now, it's ok in drive, but once I park or put her in neutral the idle starts hunting and there is this odd miss. Anyone know what I can check?

The computer's supposed to lower the idle when the car's shifted into neutral or park. It raises it back up when the car's put into drive or reverse just so the motor doesn't stall.
Does your car idle lower in park/neutral than in drive/reverse?
