standard rotation?

run the numbers there, why wouldn't it be? is it from a boat? you could always pull the distributor and look at the gear, or compare it to another distributor gear. it'd be cut backwards if it were reverse rotation engine.

There are so few reverse rotation SBC motors in the world that it's not worth worrying about. I'd guess odds are less than 1 in 100,000 that it's reverse.
Even if it is reverse rotation, nothing about the block makes it that; only the cam and the distributor, which you're going to change anyway I'd assume.
