is it the PCV valve?
blue smoke, then car died and wouldnt restart. the car has 43,000 miles and never had a problem before, so i was told that its not the seals or rings. its either PCV or the intake gasket , right?????????

Even if the PCV fell off the car and the intake gasket sucked its way into the engine it would still start.
You have bigger issues.
Are you getting fuel, spark, etc., hows compression??

i would have to agree with engineboy on this one the pcv or intake gasket...neither one of those items would keep the car from running...Will the car crank over if so is it getting spark and fuel
