Also, don't be giving the breaker bar a long "pulllll". Doing that can induce a side-load that can strip the bolt head. You want to use a pulsing motion - like an air-powered impact wrench - to break the bolt free. Instead of a long pull, give a few short/hard pulls. Same for pushing. (Sounds like a dirty joke, eh?) That's why hammering on a ratchet handle or breaker bar works- it gives the bolt an "impact" which helps loosen it.
If you strike the breaker bar with a hammer, be careful of your eyes- the chrome can chip (chrome is hard but brittle) and little pieces can fly off into your eyes.
