5.7 L Marking on engine block???

Where do I find the 5.7 Liter Marking on my engine block? I just wana make sure...I just bought it...I can't find it...So if u have an 89 IROC-Z or just plain know....plz b real specific as 2 the location on the block.

Axle/Gears: 3.23:1
You can either look on the block, right behind the driver's side head.

Of course, if you can't see it, like mine, which is covered with wires, you can also check the block itself on the sides.

Underneath the car, on either side of the block, you'll see a 3 digit number. Its the last three digits of the block casting number. If you find the last three digits and do a search on the board, you'll find out what size it is.

Thats what I did on mine. I saw 627 which denotes a 305
