Tune Up = Loss of Power ??????

Ok Guys..........here is my problem.........I just did a complete tune up yesterday............fuel filter/Bosch spark plugs/MSD Blaster coil/ MSD rotor- cap/ MSD 8.5mm wires..........the car runs great when you start it up(lots of power) and once it gets to operating temp and you drive it ..its like wheres the power at?????....i know i could get out and run faster than what the engine is pulling.........in idle it runs great.....but when you put a load on it in the lower rpm range it feels like it wants to bog down or its pulling alot of weight in the rear......once it goes up to higher rpms it runs great..........the engine is bone stock with a TBI unit on it......305 LO3.....can anyone give me an idea whats wrong with it............thanks

What did you gap your plugs at?

I just did the same exact tune up except with Rapid fires and got great results.

I gapped mine at .045

Is it a code32? I chased an egr problem as a result of that code, and it actually turned out to be my VAC sensor. Check the vacuum hose to your vac sensor or equivalent (MAP sensor). I'm not sure which model years have VAC and which have MAP, but it's worth a look. My vacuum hose looked good, but it was totally clogged with gunk.

I found out my EGR valve just had to be cleaned.....except my problem was at idle, felt like it wanted to stall. That could be your problem too.
