how do i check for a bad oxygen sensor?
check out put with a DVM, i beleive if there is any out put it would be good, but since it varies i don't think you'll find a set value that is makes it good, or bad. check your manual for readings i may have it wrong.

They should be putting out .1 to .9 volts with eng running.
If the sensor is out of the car, you can blow propane across the tip and read a voltage increase. That tells you if it's completely dead or not. Doesn't tell you much more.
They can be operable but sluggish.
IMHO; If your concerned and/or know it hasn't been replaced in 20-30K miles, replace it. They're like $20-30.
