Locar throttle cable, anyone use them?

Need a new throttle cable to replace my broken stock one. I need one that is adjustable as nothing is in the stock location. How are the locar universal cables as far as installation? Anyone using them? I saw they had a tpi cable there as well, which would probably be alot closer to the stock cable as far as connectors go but it looks like it woudl probably be too long. Can the cable housings be cut to size with the tpi cable or is it fixed?
