Does it do it when the car is stationary, and you turn the wheel full lock? If so, you may just be low on power steering fluid. The pump is supposed to make a little bit of noise at full lock, as it has a pressure relief valve. Either that or maybe the pump belt is slipping a little. Try tightening the power steering pump belt

If it's only when the car is moving, then one thing to check for is wear on the inner wheel arch. I fitted some aftermarket alloy wheels and the offset was wrong, causing the wheel to rub on the inside of the wheel arch. Felt like a grinding as you described.

get someone to look a check where the noise is comming from when your moving slowly, if it does under 5mph , try this...

my car does the wheel squeel too, like if its turning too much and one is being drag!? weird noise, might be the rear tires i dont know, but for a big long car like this i think they turn very tight! not like jeep, but still for the size its great.

I think that might be the power steering pump relief valve in that instance. I could be wrong also though

May just be bad tires - sidewalls caving in under the pressure of the turn.
