what compression ratio

I plan on getting vortec heads to put on my 350 i'm building but need to know what compression ratio i'd be looking at. I plan on getting trw forged or silv-a-cast pistons. Also what type of piston should I get? I plan on this being a daily driver but I also want good power so what compression ratio should I be shooting for I'm running a carb if that helps at all. I'm kinda new to this so any help would be appreciated.

If those heads are 64cc and you have zero to near zero deck height you'll be looking at 9.8-10:1 depending on the head gasket.

i would shot for 9.5:1 for a street motor. with 64 cc chambers, regular head gasket, unshaved deck and flat tops pistions with 4 valve relefs your looking at 9.5:1. you should make damn hell a$$ power with this and still run pump gas
