i've saw a lot of people post this and there isn't a easy way to do it. if you can heat and bend a wrench for better access is about it. even with the engine out it isn't easy.

I am afraid ede is right, its not very easy. There are a few things to do that can make it easier though. First of all, I did do both mounts with the motor out of the car. You can actually get all the bolts out with a 15mm socket, 15mm wrench, universal adaptor and a LONG *** extension (i used one thats about a foot and a half long). On the passenger side, its easier to get the two uppers by removing the wheel and then angle the extension from over by the beginning of the pass. ground effect and through the coil spring. Be careful not to drop the washers too. You should stuff some rags in there in the crossmember brace to prevent them from falling down there. When putting them back on, I siliconed the washers to the nuts and then put vasaline inside the socket to keep everything in place. If your universal is worn, I would suggest getting a new one that will hold its setting so you can get the bolts started easy. When starting the bolts, dont try to use the rachet, just hand start the bolt from above using your fingers. Keep in mind if you want to use the poly replacement type mounts, you will have to grind or drill out the rivets on the sides of the clamshell. It just takes some patience and make sure you have good lighting from under the car. I got my mounts re-installed by myself in about an hour. Good luck!

remove the front springs. The time invested doing this will pay for itself many times over

Putting them back on was the real problem. Of course that is after I fished the washers and nuts out of the crossmember with a magnet. To get things put back together I had to use strings to raise the nuts back up and epoxy them in place. Just keep working at it is all I can say. Took a long time and lots of tries.
