What year/model/engine do you have?

If you have a fuel injected engine, I would suggest checking the injectors for leakage. if it is a TBI system, you might want to inspect the gaskets on the injector pod for leakage.

vader my engine is a 91 350 tuned port ported heads cam standard bore ported plenum runers 58 mm throttle cold air super comp headers1 3/4 no smog no cats 3 1/2 inch exaust adj. fpr Today we adjusted tps and iac valve it was idling ok but all the sudden it started surging again erratic iddle no power and black smoke also when the fuel pump stops pressure drops quickly even with the return or preasure line blocked
