400???

This may sound like a stupid question but are all "010" blocks 350 blocks? I have an engine out of a 76 chevy truck that the previous owner installed in the truck before I bought it. He said it was a remanufactured 350 but I'm not convinced. The engine is now in my camaro, I put a new 350 flywheel and balancer on it, but it has a bad vibration around 3000 rpm. I'm almost possitive that it's coming from the engine. Is it possible that my "350" is really a 400. Is there something else that could cause this vibration? Thanks for the help.

010 blocks can be 302, 327, or 350. the bore size will be standard 4". Not a 400 though.

make sure the balancer has the rubber ring in place all around

if its shifted the balancer is screwed.
