brake fluid in place of power steering?

Can you use brake fluid in place of power steering fluid? If i understand correctly, they are both hydrolic fluids so it should be ok. The reason that I ask is the stores are closed, my power steering pump is almost empty and I only have brake fluid.

I'd go with the ATF too, or just wait till tomorrow. Isn't brake fluid pretty corrosive to systems not designed for it? I'm not sure...go with the ATF if you absolutely have to.

Thanks. I think I was thinking about transmission fluid instead of brake fluid. I think I will have to add a little ATF in the morning and then pick up the power steering fluid after work. Appreciate the help.
