all the recalls we have been doing require new plugs and ICM, i have had several (more than several actually) AC Delco plugs come out of the box either closed or gapped very tight (about .025 or less)
some of the guys throw the plugs in without gapping them :nono:

i put a set of delcos on a friends truck the other day.. they were less than .025 of a gap.. on some they were actually touching.. this is on a 350 that should have been .045 and they were bought from gm for the specific vehicle.. so i wouldnt count on em coming pregapped.. and yes depending on how far off your gap is it can effect proformance quite a bit. just pull a few out for piece of mind and check the gap.. if they are all right on and exactly the same i'd feel a little better about it.
I suppose I haven't bought enough Delco plugs to justify the "usually" statement above (my apologies), but I can say with certainty that some do. The last couple of sets of AC Delco's I've bought have been gapped at 0.35 consistently out of the box. Even then, I didn't say they all came like that, so I strongly suggest that you pull them out and check.
