Quick easy question re: timing

How do you disconnect the computer so it doesn't try to advance/retard the timing? I want to see if i can squeeze a little more power out..

Well....you can't do what I think you're asking....

What you can do is disconnect the EST Bypass connector and set the base timing to your desire.

The advance is in the eprom...you'd need to burn a new curve for it to change.

to answer your question, pull the fuse to the ecm. i doubt if you like the results, but who knows you may like all your new found power, or lack of as the case may be.
