Currently, I have an MSD billet distributor and the MSD external coil, which both are direct OE replacement upgrade parts.

What can I install to upgrade my current equipment? MSD 6A or 6AL? or Jacobs or Accel.

What is out there for me and what options do I have?

i tihnk any of it would work with what you have. i have the msd6al. i like it because it has the rev limiter (the only differance). i can use the same pills in the rev limiter as my msd shift lite.
