Fuel pump conversion

I was looking to go from my in tank pump to an external pump. Do you know of a kit to do that, I guess i'd need some sort of sump. And another question do you think a stock pump and stock filter would support about 380hp? I am wondering cause I took it to the track and it nosed over about 3/4 way down the eigth mile. Thanks.

i know of a couple people running walbro in tank pumps and they are pushing almost 400 at the rear wheels....

so i dont think you have to swap to a external pump yet...

I run an External Holley pump and it can get quite loud when it gets hot. I went external since I had a carb and swapped to EFI and didn't feel like dropping the tank to install an intank unit.

I would just get a 255lph Walbro pump. My friends run that with thier LT1's and they are pushing up to 452rwhp.

if your looking to replace the pump because the car stops pulling after a while "I took it to the track and it nosed over about 3/4 way down the eigth mile" and i'd look more towards doin some work to that tpi system. they're known for that
