Is this a oil pressure switch problem????
Started my Iron Duke Camaro today for the first time in a few months. Did not hear the fuel pump prime but after several cranks...she started! Maybe I'm not hearing the pump or it's very quiet. But anyhow...I can't hear it! Is this a sign of a bad oil pressure switch? One more thing, I swapped in a speedo/tach from my 83 Z parts car. Does the oil pressure switch also control oil pressure readings on the dash?
Thanks,
Brandon

That is a sign of the fuel pump relay going bad.
oil pressure swtich is what allows the car to start and run when the relay dies.

Cool, thanks bro! So, the relay doesn't prevent the car from starting...I take it?

The relay is the main power feed for the fuel pump and the oil pressure switch is there as a backup.
