MAF Sensor Connection...

On my '89 IROC, the MAF sensor is connected to the Y-shaped air intake snorkel with black metal ring. I'm faced now with having to change my MAF sensor (again), but I don't think this ring is going to hold up to another swap. I asked the people at O'Reilly about the ring and if I could get a replacement, but they couldn't find such a thing.

It's not just a big hose clamp (although that's how it's connected on my '88 Camaro)--it's a black ring with ridged edges that clips around the MAF sensor.

Any ideas on how I can replace this ring/clip?

Thanks

do you have a pic of the clip? If I were you I would try a wrecking yard. Either that or go to GM and order a new one.
