what panels would fit?
Hey.. I just wrecked my 91 t/a... The fenders are shot..... but the nose piece is magically unbroken...
My question is, how would it look if i got pre-91 fenders, and used the 91 nose? Prolly the ground effects wouldn't line up well...but has anyone done this?
Or, has anyone converted the whole front of a 91-92 to a pre-91? Nose and all? I think the lights are different, too..... Or would this just look goofy with the ground effects on my door?
How about the rear bumper? Which years can that come from?
Thanks!

Tesla,
I don't know off the top of my head, but most wrecking yards have interchange manuals or software that will determine the years you could consider.

I was under the impression that all 82-92 Camaro and Firebird fenders were the same. However, different types of ground effects might have different mounting holes. Get fenders from a car with no ground effects, and drill your own holes.
If you wanted to change the whole front end to the older style, you'd need a lot of stuff...headlight doors, turn signals, under-the-bumper-cover reinforcements....don't bother.
As for the rear bumper, the "ground effects" are actually one piece with the bumper cover, so I'm afraid it's a unique piece only available on '91-92 Trans Ams and GTAs.
