Stock Heads????
OK, since i got burned by someone on this board and am out $500 on some vortec heads, I can't afford much right now, but i need something to get the car working better than it is right now. I found a local shop that has stock GM heads for the 350 and they are $70 per head plus core exchange. My question is can the stock heads be ported or bored over any to get a little bit more power from them?

which "stock head" are they offering? Casting #?
some are more desireable than others.

as far as the deal, i sent the guy the money almost 4 weeks ago, and haven't recieved the stuff yet. I called him like 2 weeks ago, and supposidly his cousin was going to send them out that friday.
