You should be pretty dang close right now. The IROC's with 350's ran mid 14's the fastest stock time I have seen is a 14.2 and a 14.7 being the slowest. However, the birds are a bit heavier by like almost 200lbs from what I have read. That puts you in the high 14's. Get an exhuast and a chip and burn him by a good 2 or 3 cars.

Yes, the IROC's are faster. A stock L98 should be in the high 14's, even if it is heavy, but with 104,000 miles and still mostly stock, its probably not going to be running that. So get modding!! Do the free mods, port the plenum, get an AFPR, Corvette Servo, MSD Ignition, and all that stuff!!

Hey, 1989t-topGTA, you're cheering me up... I just had my "spare set" of injectors serviced by Rich J (at http://www.cruizinperformance.com ), and got them back yesterday. Hopefully I'll see the same results!

I don't know how many miles were on those spare injectors, but I have 207,000 on my current ones. They gotta be a little dirty, right?

Tom,

Rich should have given you some flow data for the injectors as received and as shipped. There should have been a significant improvement in spray pattern and flow-matching among the set. He usually tries to get the flows within +/- 2% or less for the entire set. I've had very good experiences with their service more than once.

He did, I just didn't know how many miles were on that spare set.

Before the operation, they varied 7%, Rich cleaned them up to 2%.

I'm toying with the idea of sending him my 207,000 mile injectors for a flow test, just to see what kind of condition they were in.

But yes, I installed the cleaned injectors Saturday, and what a difference! Wow! The car takes off from a stop much faster! Also, in every other driving situation, the car feels like it "wants to" go faster.. like it's begging me. I gotta get to the track again before the season's over! If I do, I'll post the results.
