ok guys I have wuts in my sig and i'm not making much usable power cause my heads are killing me, now say i went with a smaller cam, Do you think i coudl make more power?? Also if not then i am gonan save for a set of Vortecs from sdpc machined down already, a perf. RPM intake, same 750 edel i got now, and i was think maybe an XE-268 or do you think an Xe-274 woudl be better?? I am looking to be able to get into the 12's with this motor and some 3.73's on street tires. and i mean street tires by liek normal tires u drive on everyday liek a futura gls or ultra-z or something. thanks

Start here, either upgrade or work these heads. There should be enough meat to remove to support 450HP, probably more.

Ofcourse if you have the $$ (you'd obviously not be MWC) you could look in to buying a set of better heads.

Seems like you have a strong carb cam, but I'd still want more lift

 

unngghhh... futura tires are horrible. I put my vote in for a smaller cam like the xe268 and work the s/r's over. It probably wont be enough for 12s but it sould still do low 13's pretty good, not to mention your t5 will be history if you go much further.
