383 build up, see if I am doing this right>

This is my first 383 TPI build up. I am going with the list below, so please tell me where I am going (if I even am) wrong. Remember, I just want to see at least 12.3's in the 1/4 mile with this set up (no NOS).

383
11.1 forged pistons
forged crank
forged rods
AFR or Canifeild 195cc heads
bigger injectors (not sure how big)
New PROM to go with new set up
*Mini ram? Super ram? Better flowing TPI?
SLP's 224/230 cam
1.6 roller rockers

----------also-----------
AFPR
MSD 6AL
headers
2.5" dual exhaust
2800 stall
3.73 gears

Well, I need to see low 12's with this set up. That way (seeing its going to be forged) I can run anywhere from 150-225 shot NOS, single or dual stage. Then I should pull 11's all day.

*zip up flame suit*

Thanks

I ran 11's on just the engine (carbed) with less than that but then the stock bottom end finally let go.

Why NOS, why not go with a super-charger?? At least you are not refilling the NOS tank all the time. Get the super-charger, and if it still isn't fast enough, then you get the NOS.

The list of what you are going to do, that is pretty much what I expect to get done over the next 3 yrs, including the super-charger, and alot of suspension mods. I am not interest as much as a lot of people in their 1/4 mile times, I just wanna roast any and every mustang on the road. Whether it be straight line or in the twisties.

If you look at long term, the supercharger may be almost the same (over time) as the NOS. The NOS gets pricey becuase it first costs around $600 for the kit, and like $30-45 every time you fill it, over time that filling the bottle gets pricey. Tthe supercharger is like $3000, then it uses more gass, so over time they both cost alot of money. But, I want to just run all motor, along with NOS, (besides I already have the NOS system).
