rough idle...WTF?!

ive got an 89 L98 GTA, 105,000 miles, all stock w/ free mods. I just had my injectors cleaned and am very pleased. Now my question...i finally got the infamous "rough idle TPI". Whats going on? I just tuned it up w/ plugs and wires and the injectors. The car runs great if its not idling. Thanks guys.

hey 89ttgta i see you live in glendale az, i am in vegas area, my point is the hot summers are very hard on small rubber hoses you might have disturbed a brittle vacuume line during your tune up and inj. work. i have found that they break very easy after alot of years of high heat. i keep a supply of 10 feet on hand just in case.i just replaced all my egr lines made a big improvement and i had no codes. any codes?

i replaced all my vacuum lines when i did the injectors. the only code i have is a code 34 i believe, which would be a MAF. it only happens when i just start the car up and push the gas pedal maybe more than 1/4 of the way down. when my SES light comes on, sometimes the car barely runs, other times it dosent change. im just lost on this.....oh yeah, the idle in gear is about 600-650, is this too low?

hey i don't pretend to know alot about these things but i'am an info junkie i try do read as much as i can and this board has taught me alot. i have read on here that if you switch the two relays, the burn off and fuel relay and your code goes to a 33 then replace relays like 10$ each at autozone if not it may be maf autozone has them two, there is a good picture of these relays under a post by yarnboy, about needing a new ecm ater flashing maf code, vader posted the pic. he seems to be the man who knows. read his posts you will learn alot. (thanx vader)
your idle speed seems good mine is about the same. hope this helps some, at least its something else to check.

I've heard a bad TPS will affect idle quality- but I don't know how doing plugs/wires/injectors would've affected that.
