Thats not a block number man..sorry. You must be looking at some other marking on the block....block numbers are 6 or 7 digits, all numbers.

EDIT: look just above where the bellhousing bolts on to find it, or if that shidden, usually the last 3 numbers will be on it in the freeze plug area.

That's a better number to look up than a casting number. It will tell you what year and model of vehicle the engine came out of. Casting numbers can be used across a wide range of vehicles.

Unfortunatly I have no listings for those block numbers but I know there are lists out there.

Cool. I didn't realize nastyz28 had those numbers. I wonder what other pages he has that I can use. I already use a few of them for researching stuff.

Way cool thanks MRZ. but not the answer I was looking for. the guy told me its a 400 block. I never looked at it just got #'s via him. Glade to know. THANKS.

Anyone one of you have a 400 block. (still a virgin) I need one for a 420 TT project
