Can anyone give me a rough Idea on how much it would cost for this stuff?

It is a chevy 350, 1 piece rear main, 2 bolt


degrease
cam bearings
freeze plugs
bore and hone
install new pistons on rods
balance rotating assm.
machine for splayed four bolt main
>>>>>>>>>.as needed additional for splayed caps(i.e. line bore, ect.,)

 

im in the process of getting my motor machined and this is what im doing.
1.new cam bearing
2.freeze plug
3.cylinders bored and honed
4.boilling out the block
5.heads beeing rebuilt
all for 620 dollars.

the rate around here are the lowest i ever see posted, try the yellow pages and call a shop in your area, rates vary a lot with differant parts of the country. here are my local rates

clean 40
cam bearings 30 plus bearings
press pistons around 40
freeze plugs 15 plus plugs
bore 8 dollars a hole
heads 75 each plus parts
machine for studs 45
machine for springs 2 a spring
balance and splayed mains i'd have to go somewhere else if i recall it's 250 and 75
