I found a rear end with 3.23 gears out of an 84 with a 5.0 HO. The only thing is my 87 has drums and this rear has disks. Is this a hard switch? What do I need? I really want this rearend and a little work never hurt anybody, if you get my point.

You will need the master cylinder, p vavle, e-brake cables and new rear brake lines, I would also change the gear fluid and rebuild the calipers with gms rebuild kit, since those calipers probably still have the old weak spring which was a recall.
