Well, my car has been sitting for the last couple weeks because it has an exhaust leak, and my parents didn't want me to drive it. So today I thought I'd run her around the block to make sure she's running good. When I start it up there's this ticking sound coming from the tranny, I'm like DAMN! So I cruise around the block and the ticking is still there, you can hear it over the idle and even when your driving. Then when I get home I pop the hood to check if everythings good in there,and theres smoke coming from BOTH exhaust manifolds. I detailed the engine a about a week ago, could that just be excess cleaning solution stuff I used burning off?? Just when I get ready to put the new cat back on she starts acting up! Please help me out guys, I really can't afford my car breaking on me.

 

Everthing should be ok. You should see when i spray WD-40 over my WHOLE engine to shine it. i get to a stop light down the road and smoke is POURING out of my Formula Hood. They think my car is on fire.

 

get that TRANNY CHECKED OUT PRONTO. I DROVE ON MINE TILL IT WOULDNT DRIVE ANY MORE. I HAD AN EXHAUST LEAK AND TRANNY TICK. SOMETIMES I COULDNT TELL THE DIFFERENCE. EVENTUALLY SHE STOPPED GOING. 1000 SPENT ON REBUILT WITH TRANS GO SHIFT KIT. GET IT CHECKED OUT SOON. YOUR PROLLY GRINDING GEARS N ****.
