I have an 86 transam and if i keep a steady cruise at freeway speed, I can barely feel the car picking up speed and then losing a little power and this goes on and off for 5 seconds or so....

what could be the cause...?

I just put in a 350 so it's had a complete tune up, all filters are new, new belts...
