Need wiring help!

As most of you know my IROC was wrecked by me some time ago. Well some ricers thought it would be funny if they ripped out the wires of my car. pretty much every wire in the wiring harness...I have put most of them back buy memory....But something is wrong....I just put a new alt on...and i have the hot wire from the alt. running to the batt. of course. and then I have it grounded....but there is nothing running to my starter....could someone tell me how to wire that up and what kind of wire i need to use because its gone-cant find it anywhere.

Thanks

if your missing everyhting then maybe your best bet would be to go to a junk yard and get a complete wire harness and wiring for the accessories from a similar third gen. For the starter, the very least youll need is a main large gauge wire running to the starters main teminal from the + terminal of battery, a switched 12 volt wire to engage the solenoid, as well as a large ground wire to the cylinder head. Ive seen similar wires that are pre fitted with terminals available at most autoparts stores.
