I'm reassembling my heads with new springs, any reason not to reuse the old hardware?

It's not the cost, but is it necessary? Visually everyhing looks fine.

FYI, will not be cutting for larger diameter springs.

Thanks.

Always replace springs. It's cheap, and can make a world of difference.

Go to www.CompetitionProducts.com or www.enginekits.com and look for their Z28 springs.

The rest should be fine. Retainers and keepers don't normally wear out. As long as look good...

Yesir ,

I'm using new springs, was wondering about the rest of the HW. Cool, I was considering going with Comps springs, I'll check out the other ones..anything new should be good for another 40-50Kmiles I'd guess.
