you said you have vortec heads? what are the sizes on the intake and exhaust valves? did you buy them complete or were they bare? Also, who or what is Scoggin Dickey?

 

hey buddy..sorry, i was running all day today and didnt get on...yeah i have the vortecs.....i actually sold that engine today (thats where ive been) im building a 396 now..anyway..they rocked, i never put it on a dyno or anything..but on Desktop Dyno the engine hit 460HP at 6,000 rmps. if you want the specs of the engine id be glad to tell ya..as for the vortec numbers....call scoggin dickey...they are a chevy dealership in texas..but there parts dept rox...heres the number.....1-800-455-0211 they can tell ya all about em..also get a copy of the Chevy High Performance Mag. the december 99 issue has a kick *** review of those heads..anyway.hope that helps..feel free to hollar...peace.
