Fan won't switch off

I came home from work today and my fan stayed on after I turned off the engine. It won't shut off. It is an L03 and it is still stock. I need to fix this tomarrow because this is my daily driver. Please help.

Well, I think that I have it down to the AC system. I noticed that my compressor is very eratic and making abnormal sounds. The good news is that my fan shut off. How much do these compressors cost?

Sharp,

I would guess that the problem is more likely with the fan relay sticking than the AC compressor. The compressor and the ECM control of the fans will terminate when the ignition is shut off. The only way for the fans to remain on after shutdown is if you have shorted wiring or a sticking fan relay.

That makes sence. So can you tell me where the relay is so I can get a new one?

On my 1991 LO3 the fan relay is located on the drivers side firewall. btw, there are two relays located on the firewall: one is the fuel pump relay (closer to passenger side) and the other relay is for the fan (closer to the driver side).
