Can you still buy "new" gas tanks for third gen's ?

I think my fuel pump is going on me, I switched from tpi to carb and went with the mallory three port regulator. Everyday I start the car, I have to reset the fuel pressure - I've had ranges of 3 - 12. Obviously, I can't get the car tuned worth crap. I guess the in-line gauge could be screwed up, I'll check that I guess. I want a new tank while I'm at it, plus a new pump. What pump would you recommend to put me at carb psi levels, I want to get rid of the regulator. Should I go with an electrical in-tank or in-line ? I want a good fuel supply as I plan on a 100 or 150 shot of NO2 on an engine that should be around 375 or so NA. I sum up my babble, I want a good pump, probably electric, (are vortec heads drilled for mechanical pump?) in-tank or in-line. Hopefully I can do a new tank while I'm at it.

You're staying with the carb? If so, I'd say get a regular electric pump, not one that goes inside the tank. In fact, I believe I've read that an external pump will still suck gas through a dead in-tank pump- eliminating the need to remove the old pump from the tank.

I'm trying to find some information about putting an electric pump in-line with my stock pump disabled, but have not found what I'm looking for yet.
