How hard is it to Change a Fan Motor?

The fan motor (the one that controls temperature in the cabin of my car) is busted, and I'm wondering a couple of things.

First how hard is it to get to?

Second, where is it?

Lastly, should I attempt to fix this myself, or leave it to a pro?

FYI I drive an 86 Trans Am

Thanks

It's extremely easy. It's on top of the evaporator housing, next to the right fender. It's a round black cylindrical thing with a purple wire and a black wire going to it. The little screws around the perimiter of the sheet metal it's mounted in are all that holds it on. It's about a 15 minute job.
