My tranny is dead... (I think)
Ok, well my 89 IROC broke it's rear end, so I limped my way to the school auto shop and replaced it. Now I only have Reverse and First gear only if I shove the selector into 1. What gives? Why would I not have drive, over drive and second but I would have 1. Is my tranny dead? Or is my torqu convertor messed up? Thanx.

what kind of tranny
in my 700r4 i got stuck in 1st even when it was in park. a small plastic gear was broken in my tranny. somethinb is wrong. check it out
