FUel pressure drop?

I had my pressure set at 42 pounds (hose on)and 50psi hose off. I let the car sit in my garage for a week while I worked on it. Today when I started it up today the fuel pressure was reading 35 pounds hose on. (probably 42 hose off).

The car was A LOT faster. I'm sure of it, it wasnt my imagination.

The fuel pressure was at 35 pounds from when the engine was cold.....all the way to operating temp. Could the computer of returned itself to stock setting while it was being stored for a week? THe afpr is brand new, and so is the spring and diaphram.
