engine is making a knocking sound

This problem has started a couple of days ago. When my car is idling i can hear a knocking noise coming from the block. i dont know if the pistions are going bad or what. The car has about 105,000 miles on it. Could it be making noise just because of how many miles are on it? Its drives fine and really smooth still soo i dont know what could be wrong with it.

The oil is in the operating range, but when i checked the oil the car was running for awhile, so i still need to check when the car has been sitting all night

Me to. I've never heard a noise like it. It seems to be in my valvetrain, based on the fact that it goes away at higher RPM, but nobody has verified that in my other post for me...

RB??? ede??? Where are you guys? I'm sure one of you two has heard this noise before.
