Car running real rough under power...

When I put the car under power, car bucks and sounds like it is missing real bad. Then it smoothes out and goes. This morning the car actuallly loaded up then died...then started back up...last time it did that it knocked the coil out and would not start. Coil has been replaced by same oem speck. Sounds to me like it is not mechanical but rather electrical...What are you guys' thoughts?

How old are the spark plug wires? Usually a misfire under load is ignition related, and if the plug wire is bad enough, it may be putting too much stress on the coil wich may have killed it.

The plug wires might be just a year and a half old. They are accell 8mm. Now after I changed the coil I did have the #2 wire resting on the header for a day or so before I caught it. It did not burn through but just left a small white spot where it was laying. It seems like it might be the coil...maybe that cheap autozoo coil is the culprit. I might go ahead and get a new coil. To narrow down the problem.
