a/c blows cold mist
My a/c system blows cold. But sometimes blows cold mist. Looks kinda cool though, but car starts to smell afterwards.
I don't think the evap. hose is clogged, since there's a puddle of water under the car.

like steam? my beretta does that sometimes, not exactly sure why, might be a vacuum leak causing the hot air to mix
That can happen with an extra cold evaporator (slightly low charge pressure), high blower speeds, and high humidity intake air. The air does not have enough time in the evaporator case to remove enough humidity, but droplets form after the air leaves the core. This is a precursor to evaporator icing from the low charge.
update...
I ran my a/c on a higher setting for a week, and had no mist comming out of the vents. So I guess, the lowest cool setting, makes the air too cold...causing mist.
Maybe the expansion valve is faulty. My passengers love the mist effect though.

I havent seen any problems with GM's but other makes (DC) are know for poor location of the evaporator drain tube and when they get plugged this is common along with water on the floor board. So where were you mudd jumping?
