Vader or anyone help: Fuel pressure WTF from 29 psi to 35 (hose on)????
Ok for starters, I have a Crane afpr, Intellitronix digital fuel pressure gauge and digital air/fuel ratio monitor. Last week the car was off the road for the WHOLE week. Before I stored it I set the FP at 50psi at idle with the vacuum hose disconnected. And at about 43 hose on.
I start it up yesterday and it's reading 35 with the hose on at idle and 42psi with the vacuum hose off.?????
Now today I start it it reads 37 (hose on), drive around runs good ...fast...
Turn it off . Get home start it reading 30, goes to 29 for a sec at idle.
The car runs faster than ever. The gauges are brand new, injetors all pulse. Crane afpr is brand new and so is spring and diaphram.
What could it be?

TF,
If you feel you instruments are accurate, you may have some contamination in the fuel system. Any contaminants may temprarily lodge in the FPR valve disc or seat, causing a loss in pressure. It is also possible your pump is failing, unable to maintain pressure with and consistency. I would also check the filter for clogging.
