shuddering car

My car shudders when I let off the gas and coast. It doesn't the worst in drive and the other two gears. It does it very little when in overdrive. The tranny has been rebuilt and I'm pretty sure it isn't engine related. It feels as if something is pulling on the back of the car. If I hit the gas after coasting awhile there is a strong jerk before the car starts to move forward. Any Ideas?

I know it isn't any of the mounts because they have all been replaced within the last year.

Snap,

MTX is in the right area. Take a look at the 'U' joints. While you're under the car inspecting the rear joint, check for free play at the pinion shaft on the axle housing. You should also check rear wheel bearings, LCA and torque arm mounting bushings, and don't forget to check the driveshaft for straightness.
