zz4 accesories.....HELP ZZ4 GUYS, PLEASEEEEEE
i have a zz4 and i need to know what to do to put a power stearing pump, alt, water pump pulley/belt setup.
i had a TBI 305 and i was planning on using my serpentine accesory brackets, turns out the holes dont line up. so instead of spending ALOT more money ($500) on a serpentine setup, i would like to just use a v belts.
what all will i need to do this? will my 305 alt work? how about the power stearing pump? do i need different pullies? which belts will i need?
if i have to end up having to get all this stuff new, and spend close to the same as a serp setup, then i will just break down and get the serpentine setup.

You'll need different pulleys. Alternator & PS pump will work, water pump will not. You'll need all different brackets. Would be easiest to get all that stuff off of a v-belt car ('86 & '87 were a mix of v-belts and flat multi-groove belt).
I have a buddy w/'90 RS that did the ZZ3 thing (basically older version of ZZ4, block & heads identical), used all his old serp stuff. Seems one bolt hole wasn't tapped, but the rest all lined up. This is a familiar sounding story, might want to search "ZZ4" on the motor swap forum.
