WHAT DOES THIS HURT??
lately to get the tires to smoke(like real smokey) In my t5, i put it in reverse, let it roll then put it in first (with the clutch in) and then drop it at like 1800. I know its not good but other than the tires, jolting the drivetrain and stuff, does it hurt the clutch anymore than a normal burnout????

yea!, thats real bad for your car!!i can't blame you though I was the same way when I was 17(first f-body) I was the unofficial smoke show king, regretfully my car sucks now. don't do it anymore, get line cut-off valves for the rear brakes, get them installed proffesionally with valve control within drivers reach.it can be tricky with a standard, but you can do some real bad A$$ smoke shows with little harm done, and change gears to relieve the engine(keep RPMs low) rember: you need four brakes to stop so unlock your lines when the cops chase you away!!

When is the last time you tuned up your car? The other possibility is that your engine may be getting a little tired. Does it puff any blue while you are driving?
