Thunk!
Hey all,
Everytime I brake hard, to a complete stop, the rear of the car makes kind of a thump as soon as the weight of the car rebounds. I can feel it too. Im pretty sure its from under the rear of the car. Does anyone have any ideas? I know the bushings in the front lower control arms need to be replaced, but when the car was on the lift, the rear bushings seemed to be okay.
Maybe a shock loose? Anything?
Thanks!
Chris

My bet is on the trans mount. I had a "THUNK" on hard acceleration and hard braking. Ended up being the tail end of my tranny hitting my floor boards
just take the cross brace that holds the tail end of the tranny off, it's only like 5 bolts. Energy suspension makes a polyurethane one that I haven't broken yet.
