floor above driveshaft tunnel ripped down center - what gives?
I had to change my starter - and had to drop entire "modified exhaust - so had a peek underneath car
when I got near transmission mount - I found I could see right into my car at least the light in my car anyway
Is this the start of my car not liking 11 sec. runs on slicks ??
where do I go from here - just weld it up ??
My car is launching good and straight with 1.6's 60 ft times, so I am not planning to mess with my stock suspension at all
Why mess with a good thing ?
Any help appreciated

2) To keep the tunnel from ripping.
No subframe connectors?

Frame shop for body realignment. They can use the original gauging holes to see just how bad it really is.
Welding the floor pan tear (drill the ends of the tear for stress relief first).
SFCs welded in place (forget bolting since it creates areas of concentrated stress).
ASCD perimeter frame reinforcers (like the ones used on the ASCD convertible conversions).
And a second crossmember between the rails and behind the existing transmission X-member.
You might even want to add a lower front reinforcement (Wonder Bar) and/or upper strut tower brace.
A different option would be a custom roll cage, but you'll still need to visit your frame shop for realignment first.

No, I do not have subframe connectors
I really did not think this could be so bad - frame alignment - sounds way serious
I think I will weld it up and try and brace it - are there any schematics/diagrams on conncecting points for subframe connectors
Given where I live, I might as well have some fabrication work done locally to strenghten the frame rather than import subframe connectors
Looking forward to hearing from you
